At SolarEdge, we believe that technology can make the world a better place. We enjoy better food, medical care and access to information than ever before. But, we are only producing about 1% of our energy from Solar PV. This technology can have an awesome impact! So, this year, join SolarEdge and get the word out to go solar!
How far would you go to save the planet
Every year, SolarEdge makes a new video to get the word out about solar. This year, we wanted to kick it up a notch and have some fun by pointing the finger at ourselves. In the video, you can see a number of crazy attempts to save the planet. You can see tree huggers, music video makers, recyclers and carpoolers. We love all of these efforts and have been known to participate in them as well. But while not everyone can make a music video or save pandas, most of us can go solar.
“We want to get the word out and to have some fun with these videos,” said Mike Rogerson, Director of Marketing. “It also helps to bring everyone together - especially the crazier scenes.”
Through coordinated filming in Israel, Germany, North America, China, Australia, and the Netherlands we hope to infuse a little sun into your day.
The Challenge of Being Beautiful
“Nothing brings a team closer than working naked in the forest together.”
---Ryan Adams, Sales Director Canada and Central US
Quite a lot of buzz has been circulating about Sales Manager Jeff Wolfe’s Shower Scene. When asked about his acting experience Wolfe said, “I finally got my 15 seconds of fame! I hope my DadBod and manscaping was everything the marketing team was looking for…”
Sometimes you need the Terminator element
He’s a cybernetic organism, living tissue over metal endoskeleton, famous for the catch phrase “Hasta la vista, baby.” And he’s also a pretty good bug catcher who only uses environmentally conscious, non-toxic methods. Who knew?
We wanted to use Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character because you get to combine who he is onscreen with who he is in person and as former Governor of California,” said Lior Handlesman. “It combines his no-nonsense toughness with a record for supporting the clean energy initiatives worldwide.”
Where my people at?
So how do all of us Earth lovers find a way to save animals, conserve water, conserve electricity, recycle, re-use, stop polluting and spread our message with a song? How do we make the environment better?
Well, its not that complicated! Just spread the word - go solar!
Have a Happy Holidays and a Sunny New Year from SolarEdge!!
No goldfish were harmed in the filming of this video.
Ever thought about working for SolarEdge?
“I am going to use the experience as a job interview question: ‘If you join SolarEdge, would you stand naked in the woods, in the middle of winter, in front of a crowd, with a camera running?”
